AFTERWORD: DC Lit Launch @ MARVIN
Thanks to everybody who came out to DCLit’s inaugural author event! We were thrilled to meet so many library lovers, or as Brightest Young Things called us, “library loving book junkies.” What a treat to feature Peter Birkenhead, author of the daring new memoir, Gonville.
We sipped literatinis (our signature cocktail), listened to author Peter Birkenhead discuss his daring and powerful memoir Gonville; and helped the DC Public Library Foundation improve our city’s libraries and empower District ressidents.
